John Marshall is a Specialist Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon based in Glasgow. 
He has been an NHS consultant and private specialist since 1998. 


His NHS practice is based in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, at a number of
hospitals including the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, New Victoria
Hospital and Stobhill Hospital

He consults and operates privately at Ross Hall Hospital, Glasgow Nuffield
Hospital and La Belle Forme Cosmetic Surgery Clinic.

He is on the Specialist Register for Otolaryngology.

John qualified in 1986 from Cambridge Medical School and his postgraduate training included Registrar training in the East Midlands (Leicester and Nottingham) and Senior Registrar training in Glasgow.  He also spent a year as Visiting Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

General ear, nose and throat conditions including:

  • Nasal blockage,  sinusitis and facial pain
  • Hearing loss, ear infections, tinnitus and dizziness.  Bone anchored hearing aids.
  • Hoarseness and other throat symptoms

Cosmetic Rhinoplasty (corrective nasal surgery)
Also other nose and sinus operations including:

  • Septoplasty,
  • Septorhinoplasty,
  • Turbinate surgery,
  • Endoscopic (keyhole) Sinus surgery
  • Functional septorhinoplasty and nasal valve surgery

Cosmetic Otoplasty  (prominent ear correction)
Also other ear operations including

  • Grommet insertion
  • Myringoplasty (repair of perforated eardrum) 
  • Cholesteatoma and Mastoid surgery
  • Ossiculoplasty (replair of problems with the three hearing bones)
  • Stapedectomy
  • Bone Anchored Hearing Aid Surgery
